Uggi Reynisdóttir is the site’s protagonist. Handsome and wise, Uggi is an avid surfer and swimmer. He’s a pirate by trade with a collection of three yachts and one jet ski. Unlike many of his species, Uggi’s hart is filled with compassion (albeit his brain is filled with hay). But hey…it could be worse.

Järpen is a formidable fictional chess player created by Zë. You really shouldn’t take advice from her, but here she is.

Her favorite chess opening is the English. Reasons: “The English Opening is a chess opening beginning with 1. c4.  Of all the openings that don’t begin by advancing the king’s pawn or the queen’s pawn, the English Opening is among the most popular. White immediately grabs some central space and takes the d5 square under control.”

Fjola is a fictional antagonist created by Zë, and although she’s fictional she’s an astute traveler who can bring adequate fun to journeys. I recommend listening to her advice because, as Oscar Wilde once quipped “Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.”
